I am not because I live in a pretty conservative area. So I try to get some leftist points through to coworkers without opening myself up to the ridicule of just being a “commy degenerate” in their eyes. So I think I can get through to them better without outting myself as a Marxist.

View all comments I am openly communist at work, we talk politics a lot on night shifts, mids are too hectic to have time to talk to each other. My best defenses against getting sacked for this are that I am really good at my job, the boss is never there at night, and I have the reputation of being the funny kid so there is a looooot of plausible deniability that I was just joking about all that communism stuff.
