I do not get this point. The excuse of $thing being a joke does not make it immune to criticism.
I mean following this idea, sure, it is a joke, I’m not contesting that and I was a big dumb moron for falling for it. But like, what is the joke? *Why * is this a joke?
It’s an exaggeration? Humor involves the unexpected. Of all the things anyone can legitimately criticize Biden for, lack of sauce at Chick-fil-a is obviously not one of them. You’d expect him to criticize the budget, or the executive agencies, or anything else.
There’s plenty to bash Cruz with. He’s a horrible human being. Why take a troll seriously? It’s what trolls are hoping for. That you won’t get it, you’ll fall for it, and look foolish taking it seriously.
