NYC averages a population of 1400 people per city block with mixed use development. Pictured above in Houston they fit 126 cars per city block sized parking lot.

Good thing modern architecture goes out of its way to avoid creating shade, to discourage loitering. You’re either inside working or spending money, or you’re home.

America intentionally designed its “public spaces” to be inhospitable to human beings.

Houston is Satan’s armpit. It’s humid as fuck. I don’t think people will be able to exist outside for most of the year in the near future.
