I feel like this sort of discourse would be a lot smoother if these types would understand capitalism is not some pre-designed set of rules that someone wrote down and then everyone agreed upon. It’s always so frustrating to read this. “It’s not actually capitalism because it breaks a bunch of the sacred rules I made up in my head.” No, it’s capitalism because it’s right there and it’s what exists.
