Can you define ethical vegan consumption?
No ethical consumption under capitalism means there’s only so much we can do. However, people use it to collapse all consumption together. There’s some things that are obviously less ethical than others. Buying a slave for example is worse than buying oranges. I sincerely hope we don’t have Vaushites here who would excuse buying something like child porn under the excuse “no ethical consumption under capitalism.” There are some things that would be unethical under any system – it’s not capitalism that makes it so.
Carnism is unethical under any system. There is no system under which rape is ethical. There is no system under which slavery is ethical.

Riddle me this, what do you think is fed to “livestock animals” to keep them alive so you can have a tortured corpse on your plate? In your fantasy land, do these animals just grow out of thin air or something?
