Not sure everyone knows tbh, plus “Chris Chan” was what everyone called her for years.

They go by Christine now so I don’t know if they wanted to keep the “Chris Chan” thing around, cos u technically still could go by that name with Christine still being your full name.

I know she uses she/her pronouns but I didn’t exactly follow what her interest personality name was. I genuinely thought they were she/her but still went by Chris Chan. Sorry if I’m wrong there.

Plus, I think all the trolling over the years kinda throws doubt on some stuff. Again, not an excuse but I understand why it happens. Its good to err on the side of caution in this case. But I wouldn’t be surprised if some people thought someone just made it up to make fun of her.

Because the ‘validity’ argument gets them enough space to misgender someone without being yelled at.
