Women’s tennis, Volley, Polo , track and field and others still experience viwership,founding and following that isnt massively bellow their male counterparts still get full stadiums and events and tv coverage. Removing the sex/gender distinction in lets say Tennis would have every single woman player rank outside the top 1000 and never being able to compete in any high level tournament and get coverage , sponshorships and even make a living. Of course this can be solved under socialism but currently it would be a death sentence for the prospects of millions of girl athletes. You wouldnt have female participation in olympics and other top of the world stages
