This has been a Ben and Jerry’s thing for literally ever cause it was founded by hippies.
Say what you will on private enterprise, but Ben & Jerry’s makes this part of their brand, and is the closest there is to a based business. Now, if only they were a worker co-op.
Don’t they have some good positions on Israel Palestine too? At least surprisingly good for a company.

Eeehhhhhhh not really enough, but definitely pretty unique in the corpo sphere to actually be willing to call out the occupation. I really wonder if they think they’ll get more people buying ice cream for this decision or not.
Every organization in America has to have political opinions now. And they’d better support the political establishment otherwise there will be consequences. The American Federation Of Teachers, one of the US’ largest teachers unions, comes out in favor of bombing Syria . I feel like this is some sort of reductio ad absurdum of unnecessary politicization of stuff. But it’s our reality now.
Why don’t they just shut up about it? Because silence is violence. You’re either in the forefront or you’re suspicious.
