It’s pathetically easy for people to sexually assault others and only a bit harder to get away with it. There’s no way that a rapist is going to go to the effort of pretending to be trans, they’d just become a taxi driver or get hold of some rohypnol or something.

I’ve never, in contrast, heard of a trans person or someone pretending to be trans sexually assaulting someone in a women’s bathroom or changing room and I bet I would have if it ever had happened. These lot would be over it like flies on shit.
The other part that doesn’t make sense is how is that what stops these hypothetical attackers? Like someone decides to assault someone in a bathroom, they go through the effort to “pretend to be trans” and then what, decide when they get to the door and it says “Women Only” that they shouldn’t do it? Is a sillhoette of a woman on a door really gonna stop these attackers they are convinced are real? No? So then what’s the argument?
