A girl came to the register with some essentials for a pet and explained very quietly that she didn’t have much money and asked if there was any kind of discount I could give her. She said she would try her card anyway but it might be declined.

No one was in earshot or eyesight so I told her to just take it. I just started this job too hope I don’t get fired lol
