This is the first I’m hearing of the /s tag having utility for accessibility.
Seems like a really good point, consider me a convert to the Sarc Mark Crew.
Thinking about it, yeah… That tracks. I think I must have internalized a sort of humor-chauvinism that I hadn’t really examined before. Somehow, ‘making a joke more recognizable to readers,’ just didn’t feel related to accessibility until now.

harassing people isn’t allowed here nor on the old sub. why should making less funny posts be expected over, you know, having a culture of people not being dicks cause they didn’t get something.

Pretty much all the bots on the old sub were annoying. And all reddit bots. Except n word bot.
