As my astro teacher used to say: We are are all in space, all the time. Earth is not separate from the greater Universe.

The Earth orbits around the Sun each year which in turn orbits around the center of the Milky Way every ~250 million years.

Every moment of our lives we are moving in space relative to objects humanity can’t even properly fathom the scale or nature of.

Shit is weird out there.

the circular model of the solar system isn’t even accurate, the sun is plowing through space, the rest of everything is trailing behind like a big ass comet with the planets spinning around forming the tail

It’s really best to just not think of the Earth as a normal astronomical body in a vast uncaring universe because the planet could be sterilized by a gamma ray wave at literally any time and the first we’d know about it is when our skin catches fire.
