People say they taste like lobster. I think this is a bit of an exaggeration but I can see where they’re coming from, definitely in texture.

Wow that is honestly sick af. Were you hunting for it or just hiking? Mushroom hunting sounds really enjoyable but i’ve become nocturnal since losing my job

I was hunting for other mushrooms, but happened on it. Depending on where you are, Chicken of the woods should be going strong right now, along with hen of the woods. Both are really tasty, and wildly different tasting.
