We vibin’. Been kinda vibin’ all weekend. Dogs are happy, weather is warm but overcast, so we were still able to get out and do a local art flea market and go on a bike ride. Out of character from the daily overwhelming anxiety, but I don’t want to jinx it. Crush those 9’s, OP, light is at the end of the tunnel.

Or in general, words that sound similar; ‘My Girl’ becomes ‘My Squirrel’

A lot of songs with ‘love’ in the title or chorus get changed to ‘drugs’; for example, instead of ‘I feel like making love’ it’s ‘I feel like taking drugs’ or, ‘what the world needs now, is drugs sweet drugs’. Etc etc.

I like to follow record labels- find out which ones your favorite artists are on, and see who else is on the label. For instance, Colemine Records is a soul label that has some great stuff on it. Ipecac for alt-rock, etc. I usually will check out end of the year best of lists too- the usual suspects there- NPR, Pitchfork, Bandcamp. Also worth noting, check out NTS radio- you should be able to search by genre and get at least a little taste of variety. Radiooooo is another one you can kind of curate. Hope that helps!
