They certainly took their time, I had been going out a few times a week for the past 2 months or so, and only recently did they start popping. I had great luck with chanterelles and morels earlier in the year.

We vibin’. Been kinda vibin’ all weekend. Dogs are happy, weather is warm but overcast, so we were still able to get out and do a local art flea market and go on a bike ride. Delicious! I did some in a faux chicken strip style, did some sautéed in a pasta, and then made a conserva with the rest for down the road.

Yes! We cut some into strips and breaded and fried them, straight up chicken strips!
