In no particular order, I’d probably pick Terminator 2, Die Hard, Robocop, The Dark Knight, Heat, Kill Bill 1+2, District 9, The Crow (been awhile since I’ve seen it though), Speed, and maybe John Wick.
There’s probably quite a few I’ve missed out on, especially foreign action films.

Terminator 2 is the clear winner, I think it’s the perfect action film.

Compare with Lethal Weapon 3, which is the most reactionary piece of copaganda garbage I’ve ever seen. They went from fighting South African fascists to superpredators less than a year after the Rodney King verdict. Someone needs to do an analysis of that film there’s a lot there.
