Huh, that makes sense. I’ve never run into people who advocated school abolition outside of… Well, the mainstream in my town. Libertarians and Conservatives hate public schools for different reasons, but oh wow do they hate them

i may or may not have have been thinking of school as a prison and reached this conclusion myself in secondary school :sweat:
ofc thats a prototype of left-antischool argumentation, on the right its like ‘theres not enough religion and child abuse in the public schools!’ :frothingfash:
