I love the Half-Life reference at the end. Every capitalist thinks “Capitalist Flight” is some kind of debate ending threat. In the beginning of Half Life, you go into the test chamber, it seems just another test like any day, then surprise the entire world goes completely to shit and aliens invade en mass. And that’s basically what would happen. The gateway to socialism will be opened in a way only a very costly world war could ever close again. Capital Flight isn’t a threat, it’s a gift to the working class.

I feel like it at least had the basic shape of an effective threat 15 years ago, before it became widely known how little rich people pay in taxes.
