I had lots of crushes on older (as in, 18-25 year old) dudes in my late teens, and I remember being excited to turn 18 because it meant I could finally flirt with them without having to worry about the law getting involved, haha. My horny ass would’ve been devastated if the age of consent got raised on me.

EDIT: For the record, I am in my mid twenties now. I would not date a teenager, and I would side-eye anyone my age who does. Still, I don’t regret my first sexual encounters, and I don’t think the guy I shared them with was doing anything that should be illegal.
