I’m a dude, but I grew up with little sisters and kind of am void of piggish tendencies due to that I think, I realize women aren’t objects at least. Kink is kink and sexuality is sexuality, but I would assume women want to be able to post photos without some nasty ass dude or neckbeard in the comments section commenting about how fat her ass or boobs are or how they would “hit it”. Or walk down the street without some dog trying to hit on her.

I just saw something like this happen on twitter unfortunately and ive seen it life as well from some of friends who I tell to their faces they’re being pigs.

they are but they’re a pretty big one. I also think incels are badly named as it’s more an ideology about sex being the thing that grants men self value and manhood. I think it’s fair to lump them in with pick up artist ideology as well. I would argue that Andrew Tate is an incel despite the fact he has had sex

it’s a deeply toxic attitude that treats women as objects but also contextualises their refusal to sleep with you as them denying you personhood thus the logical end conclusion of the ideology is that women do not have a moral right to refuse to have sex with a man. Which is obviously horrific. Not just a dismissal of women but an active hate and resentment

I’ve seen people call it manosphere or redpill ideology. They definitely have the exact same mindset, they just differ in where they end up in the hierarchies they construct. MGTOWs fall into the same field as well, and there’s adjacent groups like femcels or transmaxxers that aren’t made up of men, but have internalized the same basic concepts about gender relations.

It’s admittedly hillarious to call Andrew Taint an incel. idk if i’d go as far as that, but he’s definitely more of an incel than some normal 30 year old virgin dude who doesn’t share their beliefs.

Shaming men for being virgins is a key aspect of rape culture. Which is a big part of why I hate the term incel being used to describe this hateful ideology

It is the cultural values where we see virgin men as less worthy of respect that created the incel movement

Yeah. I feel for the woman who coined Incel. Afaik she just wanted a community for other people who wanted a relationship but couldn’t find one for whatever reason to support each other and build community, but it turned in to this nightmarish army of ghouls.

andrew taint is the mirror side of the incel. the incel focuses their externality on a lack of success in the material objectification of women while the andrew taints have succeeded at the material objectification of women. the coin itself is the manosphere/redpill ideology, which is fascism wearing its most gendered male dress. the contradictions inherent to capitalism are projected onto women as a class who must be subjugated to improve the world. it has absolutely no structural teeth in itself, except perhaps in Occupied Korea (right wing politics has found great success there recently with extreme misogyny ideology). so in some sense, andrew taint is an incel. he literally has sex, but he himself has repeatedly described his lack of interest in sexual pleasure with women. it’s clear that his interest in sex is confined to his material domination of women, there objectification, and to the point of SA.

This is a recurring theme with manosphere ideologues. It’s nothing new, either, any analysis of the fascist psyche eventually gets to their sexual pathology. When Klaus Theweleit described the fantasies of the proto-fascist men of the Freikorps, he stated that “the love for women and the love for the fatherland are contradictions” to them. The fascist project needs the most extreme form of the walled-off, emotionally dead men-as-murder-weapons patriarchy can produce. They do not know love, they only know conquest, and that is by design, as having access to as many of these men as possible is the central material need of the fascist repression apparatus.

Come now, words must have meanings. Literally not an incel. Call him some other name. What incels want to be, maybe?

I use incel because I don’t have another word that I can use with people knowing who and what I am talking about.

I think incel is a terrible name for what they are because they are not like this because they don’t have sex they are like this because of the specific ways they ideologically dehumanise women. Having sex will not cure this and it’s sometimes even framed that women could prevent mass shootings by having sex with them which is the exact ideology of these men

Incel has mutated from not being able to get laid to an ideology in it’s own right. Like he’s not celibate, involuntarily or not, but he is King of the Incels, the biggest, loudest talking head for their shitty ideology.

Come on, communicate precisely. Someone who gets laid on the reg is literally not an incel.
