Without a navy, China isn’t getting that oil from Saudi Arabia. The US can step on China’s air supply any time it wants to.

In theory that is certainly possible but that is also a prelude to WW3 move, a naval blockade against Saudi is pretty much open war against OPEC+, that would destroy the world economy in about 5s.
