We have made an incredible breakthrough in science! We have through great effort made something that is worse than a tree in every single way, is expensive to manufacture, can fail in far more ways than a tree, and requires greater maintenance than a tree!

Trees really do fuck up sidewalks. My city has a bunch of tiny sidewalks that roots have completely destroyed, probably miserable for anyone in a wheelchair. Not that this is a solution, they could just properly maintain the trees and sidewalks but they don’t. :sadness:
