The gist of what I was going to say is this site from a user perspective functions like a forum from the 2000’s, except it’s harder to navigate to the specific sections, and off topic is the default, and the individual comms are either too broad or too specific with a few exceptions. The UX promotes us putting everything in main, so that’s where everything goes. I’ll talk about ways we can change that sort of thing in the userunion post.
As the mod of c/anime I support changing the drop down list into alphabetical order instead. :evo:
I think they’ll still post to Main and don’t think it’s simply laziness about scrolling down that results in all the Main posts, but I support changing it to test the theory.
A big problem is that it has a hang time of ~3 seconds, and I’ve got a fast computer and high speed internet. It’s fundamentally unpleasant for me to use the dropdown menu.
