Woke is back
it makes me sad, too. I think I was feeling pretty much the same after the pronouns struggle session and it was really only the mods coming down hard that convinced me to stick around and give it a chance. since then, the user base hasn’t really changed and there are occasional scraps but we haven’t descended to the same level of open bigotry that was on display then. so I’m giving things some time and leaving room for people to learn and grow. we’ll see if that’s a worthwhile investment of my time and energy… probably not.
as always, feel free to reach out if you want to vent or w/e - I’m on discord and matrix, if you’re going to avoid this place. your contributions do stand out; I notice you and I’m very certain others will miss you as well.
