My dorm is under quarentine and they’ve decided that we’re doing a pub crawl, except its a room crawl because we can’t go out. Basically we stop at every room and party and have a drink, which is great, because it means i’m invited to something - the problem is that every room apparantly needs a special drink and we each need a theme. The only kind of nice clothes i own right now are some slightly classier hawaian shirts, so i guess the theme has to be something vaguely tropical?

I’m crushingly socially awkward, don’t really know these guys too well, and i figure this is my shot to have friends this year. So any recommendations for drinks (or music or like just how to do things like this) would be very welcome.

I currently own most of a bottle of spiced rum and ~half a bottle of vodka. I don’t mind having to buy a few more bottles of things or whatever but i am kind of cheap ngl. Honestly, i’ve never thrown (and rarely been to lmao) a party before, and usually my choice of drink is just grabbing something carbonated and dumping vodka in it, so any help appreciated :heart-sickle:

Hot cider and rum is a nice combo, smells good too, not tropical though. Pineapple/mango/orange juice paired with either your rum or vodka works, and goes with your shirts. Grapefruit and vodka is sooo good. Get some ice for sure, maybe some of those little umbrellas. Also as an aside, when you go to other people’s rooms try to pick up on common ground to chat over, like maybe you like cars and the bro slinging jaegerbombs down the hall has car posters on the wall, idk. Be relaxed, and be yourself, stay safe and have fun

I’ll definately be looking to see if i can find some of those umbrellas somewhere tomorrow, that actaully sounds adorable, and i hadn’t thought of getting ice.

I think you have the right idea about other people’s rooms too (and hopefully letting them go first pulls a dual purpose, they can’t notice that i’m a bit lacking if they’re already fucked up lmao). Thanks comrade
