My dorm is under quarentine and they’ve decided that we’re doing a pub crawl, except its a room crawl because we can’t go out. Basically we stop at every room and party and have a drink, which is great, because it means i’m invited to something - the problem is that every room apparantly needs a special drink and we each need a theme. The only kind of nice clothes i own right now are some slightly classier hawaian shirts, so i guess the theme has to be something vaguely tropical?
I’m crushingly socially awkward, don’t really know these guys too well, and i figure this is my shot to have friends this year. So any recommendations for drinks (or music or like just how to do things like this) would be very welcome.
I currently own most of a bottle of spiced rum and ~half a bottle of vodka. I don’t mind having to buy a few more bottles of things or whatever but i am kind of cheap ngl. Honestly, i’ve never thrown (and rarely been to lmao) a party before, and usually my choice of drink is just grabbing something carbonated and dumping vodka in it, so any help appreciated :heart-sickle:
spiced rum, cola, and lime approximates a Cuba Libre. There’s probably some political debate about the name which should get you people all agitated which you obviously live for
Pineapple juice, spiced rum, and lime slice for garnish. Do about 1 part rum to 4-5 parts juice (depending on taste). If you want to be a star, have ice.

Rum and ginger ale is a tried and true classic. As for vodka, I’ve always liked a “Salty Dog” - its a Greyhound aka Vodka and Grapefruit Juice with salt on the rim of the glass.
If the rum happens to be regular Captain Morgan, mixing one shot with 1-2 cups (measuring unit) of Mountain Dew makes a drink that tastes like Vanilla Coke. It’s like alchemy.
