If you like polyamory, just go ahead and do it. There shouldn’t be a problem if all parties involved consent to it. You don’t need justifications like this.
More than two incomes in a household is actually really nice and makes reality a lot more livable, seriously it is an important material thing, it isnt the reason I do it, but it is a major perk that gives me more free time which can be used for a lot of different stuff, including organizing
