Whats up ladies, lads, and nonbinary comrades? Last week I said I was gonna start a couch to 5k program today and thats exactly what I did. It was rough but itll take awhile to undo three years of pretty much nonstop couch life.
What were your running successes and failures this week? Any funny/weird stories? How are you holding up?

For those that care about astrology, apparently now is the time to start something new with the conjuction going on. Might be a convenient excuse start running.
Running on a calorie deficit makes me feel so weak. It’s quite uncomfortable. I guess it’s something I power through, though. The whole time I’m thinking to myself how far away the end of the run is. It’s just not that fun.
I guess it just highlights the importance of having a solid, tangible goal. It’s not like I have a motivation muscle to make stronger, I’m as motivated as I need to be to put in the work.
Oof, sounds like a rough time. Remember that it will get easier the more you stick with it, and soon your runs will be less of a slog and your calorie deficit wont even feel like a deficit anymore.
