This was linked here a few days ago and I keep rewatching it every time I see a headline like “150k expected to die over the next month”. They choose to take off their masks, damning not only themselves but staff. It’s an administrator filming it so a for-profit business is risking the lives of the elderly in a healthcare facility in a county without hospital beds for tiktok views.
The elderly have created this and the society responding to it. The elderly said we deserve neither healthcare during a pandemic nor basic human dignity during an economic crash nor civil rights for the people keeping their useless boomer asses alive. They offer no compassion to the world. I have no compassion for them in return. As things get worse and my politics become more relevant, I have zero fucking excuses for anything that happens to the royal terrorists who created this through god and law.
they’re mostly dead by now but there were boomers who wanted & tried to get these things. many who’ve performed pro-social professions & put value into their communities (and some still do!). the world isn’t actually organized by age. people with power of any age fucking suck.
And the surviving ones are also victims of the people I’m talking about, whose survival is threatened by the people I’m dismissing because those people choose to be the bioweapon equivalent of suicide bombers. They should be on the frontline of hating boomers.
The boomers who caused all these problem won’t see the consequences because they’re rich enough to have access to good healthcare.
-
Who put those people in power?
-
Who is outside actively spreading the disease through their respiratory droplets?
-
Who put a gun to those peoples’ heads and forced them to not wear a mask, the only case in which they wouldn’t be personally responsible for their own actions to preserve their own privileges at your expense?
Laying it all on the bourgeoisie and petit bourgeoisie is like saying the fascist militias supporting the same structures are purely a product of the bourgeoisie. Half of those people have as many teeth as they do stocks, yet they choose to pick up that rifle and they choose to point it at you and they choose to say you don’t deserve basic human dignity if it challenges their cultural fragility. That culture has no class barrier and any degree of participation in it is enabling it.
