Genuinely did not expect a Pixar movie to have such a meaningful focus. I know they always pursue grand thenes, but they’re usually overshadowed by the plot. This movie is all about the exploration of the themes of life, death and meaning and I really like it.
I liked it, it made me feel good. The ending disappointed me a little but I know Pixar can’t have a kids movie the way I was expecting it to
I found that redirect a bit better.

I’ve seen countless sacrifices in film; the idea Joe finally understands how to live in the moment without setting goals that impact on his social life and then dies? I don’t know, it seemed more moral.
