How to get unemployment in california?

I work for my county in the election department. I wanna quit so I dont get shot by methhead trumpers. How can it be done?

But please don’t read this and become discouraged. I feel that they relaxed the restrictions on getting unemployment since the pandemic started. If you have enough money saved to support yourself without working for a few months, it could absolutely be worth trying.
