Twin Peaks The Return, but I guess that’s 25 years later.
Late comedy sequels just never work because whatever worked the first time will not be repeatable in anyway after like 5ish years. Comedy tastes just change so fast. As an example, I recently rewatched the first Austin Powers, which I used to love and still kinda do. But like Alec Baldwin’s shitty Trump impression kinda ruined it for me because it made me realize his shitty Trump impression is just stolen from Dr Evil. Like the puckered lips stuff and hand gestures all just Dr Evil mannerisms.
