Remember back when some of us could still enjoy lib media and like Stephen Colbert’s whole bit was talking about “truthiness,” to mock the shitload of lies and misinformation spilling out of the Bush admin? This guy has been a liar and a criminal his whole damn career and he’s being rehabilitated solely because orange man bad.

Are we the only ones who don’t have goldfish memories? WTAF. I swear you could jingle your keys in front of half of these people and they’d be entertained for days.

The pundit class is working overtime to rehabilitate Bush, but I don’t think your rank-and-file libs are there yet.

He wasn’t spreading falsehoods, he was merely spreading awareness about unknown unknowns.

Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tends to be the difficult ones.

People really forget now that Bush saying dumb shit was a pretty widespread thing during his time. My grandfather had a dumb bush quote a day calendar.

He said dumb shit but don’t think for a minute he wasn’t actually somewhat intelligent. I say that because people tend to write him off as being a stooge for Cheney and Rumsfeld vis-a-vis the invasion of Iraq when he was absolutely a full participant who actively lied about it all.

Bush really lowered the bar for how much dumb shit a US president can say in public. Trump wouldn’t have been possible without him normalizing that. Libs rehabilitating Bush is the best proof they have no object permanence.
