Do you get out much and maybe do something positive?

I don’t mean this as an attack or anything. I get where you’re coming from, especially now that life is basically work and then being bombarded with shit from the nightmare rectangle since it’s pretty much the only thing to do. And I’m not gonna go pretend it’s all fine if only you look on the bright side of life. And I certainly could do a lot more.

But it’s not that hard to break peoples conditioning in real life. It’s become more rare due to me getting out less and also less people being about, but whenever I’m out and offer someone help with something they’re struggling with, other people are quick to join in. You just gotta break the bystander-syndrome. Best way to do it is to start. Once the situation turns from “oh boy, this is a problem” to “oh boy, this is a problem I can actually affect” many people will help.

Same goes for standing against something. I remember rocking up to a small scale like citizen participation thing about a local park where some fucking ghoul declared number one mission should be to get, and I quote, “the undesirables out”. Which seemingly had no rebuttal but my own, but once I did that most of everybody agreed and that notion died out quick. It’s just that many people are conditioned to just quietly deal with abhorrent things.

None of this is going to ever affect systematic change, sure. But humans aren’t inherently horrible on the scale you describe.

assuming you live in america, you have to realize that it’s just 70-90% of americans that irredeemably horrible people. the percentage isn’t zero anywhere, but i’d assume it’s less than 70-90% when you’re not here.

anti-natalism is counter-revolutionary.
