I have cut all western/corporate news from my media diet. I feel so much more sane now. Like holy shit they are worse than awful with sourcing, investigation, and journalism.
Even when it’s not intentional disinformation, it’s usually still disinformation because they never want to leave their desks and just consume the slop fed to them by advertisers/the state department uncritically. If it’s not that, they are worthless because they cut staffing so much that there’s no one to actually do investigation or journalism.
Western media is just a disinformation machine designed to get you to look at Ronald McDonald and get mad at your neighbors.
