I haven’t played it yet so please don’t spoil me
The quote about " we cant expect god to do all the work" was actually about empathy and how we can’t just sit back and wait for god to save those who suffer, and that we must take direct action in protecting the weak and innocent from evil. In the context of the plot, protecting the Sorrows from the White Legs.
But of course silky-smoothbrained fundie g*mers thinks its about killing nonbelievers and removed, because they lack the sapience to understand meaning beyond surface level.
I always thought it was “Don’t trust White People with dreads”
It couldn’t be more obvious
White Legs
They gave themselves dreads because they thought they looked cool on Ulysses and didn’t understand the actual rationale behind them and then tried to wipe out the nicest people in the region because they didn’t know how to feed themselves without just taking shit from others
Hearing Ulysses talk about the dreads is so heartbreaking. He talks about how each one was weaved with a purpose and a story to go along with it.
Then these raiders just thought “damn, that looks cool” and appropriated it. Just a complete perversion of his culture. Watching his culture die would be painful enough, but to watch it “survive” in a false twisted form of true self must genuinely be agonising.
I love wiping out the White Legs. It almost feels like giving the Twisted Hairs a dignified death, it’s all they can get at that point.
I can’t believe there’s even an option to not wipe out the White Legs. I played the Exodus path for the achievement and it killed my soul.
It’s so sad. Daniel is such a wet blanket, preaching non-violence in a situation that demands the opposite.
He waxes poetically about not “ruining the Dead Horse’s innocence” like that won’t get them all killed in the future.
The DLCs are the best part about new Vegas.
The day I found out Sawyer was woke was one of the most relieving and happiest moments of the past year.
I live really really far from Mormons but if that was the point of Honest Hearts I didn’t get it.
