Counterpoint: Modern fascists are responding to the same material conditions as everyone else. They simply have no class solidarity. These memes are intended to undermine class solidarity by painting “The Other” as irrational and unreasonable, short circuiting any effort at unity before it can be achieved.

That’s true, but I imagine most of those memes still have something to do with exploitation or wage slavery or anything related to work. There are some that are just “STALIN DID NOTHING WRONG” and those usually attract high schoolers because it’s edgy, just like how far right memes attract children
