Also maybe a hot take but I think ACAB shouldn’t apply to Robocop because HE WAS LITERALLY FORCED TO BE A COP AGAINST HIS WILL. That bunny cop can eat shit tho.

Verhoeven has always been great with the satire.

Showgirls is brilliant if you realize it’s cutting satire.

I can’t imagine someone like Verhoeven getting allowed to make big budget Hollywood movies now.
