can confirm that if you call a czech eastern european theyll be pissed to shit. its like calling berliners eastern european

also if you call a czech person a german or a nazi theyll be pissed too

you could also call them a slovak, and always refer to their country as slovakia

do the opposite for slovakians, that will really really piss them off.

call them a russian

order any sort of american beer over a czech beer while in earshot

use czech insults while speaking the rest of the sentence in english

just say you put the worst ingredients possible into pasta/pizza/any other italian dish

more in depth:

  • call a person from the north “Terrone” and one from the south “Polentone”

  • ask a southener if he is part of mafia

  • say to any roman that Rome isn’t the most beautiful city on earth/butcher the carbonara recipe

  • do tons of hand gestures

  • ask if they know how to make pasta alfredo

  • ask a tuscan to say “Una cocacola calda con la cannuccia corta”

  • imply to a sardinian that he fucks sheeps

  • “are you speaking spanish?”

  • remind someone from alto adige that they’ll never be austrians

  • If you were to encounter a fash ask them how to get to the italian city of “Fiume”

i think this is more than enough

it was an austro-hungarian port city that should have stayed theirs after ww1, but because the empire was dissolved and most of the inhabitants were italian it was claimed by italy immediatly after ww1 ended. It was also claimed by yugoslavia because the sorrounding cities were majority croats. it was then annexed by italy only in 1924 after its occupation by Gabriele D’Annunzio, a famous italian poet, in 1920. After ww2 the territory was given to yugoslavia and most local italians flee to Italy so now it is a mostly croat city.

it might be referring to the croatian city Rijeka (“river” in serbo-croatian, too). mussolini took the entire croatian coast as part of the deal with pavelić, so modern fashes like to think it still belongs to italy
