All the resources you could ask for in a dying newspaper industry and this is what they choose to publish

The Wirecutter was probably compromised before the NYT bought it, but it is definitely now. The last time I looked at that site the recommendations had no basis in reality.

I mean, where should we be going for product recommendations if we are forced to actually buy things?

Reddit is obviously no help, they will always suggest the most ridiculously expensive product. Need a chair, it’s Herman Miller or Steelcase, no other suggestions. Showerhead, it’s gonna be some $4000 German thing and they’ll talk about it adding value to your home. Like bro, I’m broke as shit, if I could afford a $4000 showerhead, I wouldn’t be asking for recommendations, I’d hire a plumber.

It would be nice if local electrical or plumbing/steamfitter unions would have a list of recommendations. Preferably union-made stuff from the same region of the USA.

That would be extremely based, but I’m in Canada, so it would be cool if they did that here too.

I like the nozzle that comes out as a shower behind the gas station, makes it easier to shower with now that the police have kicked me out of my home thanks to Biden ending the rent moratorium because Wall Street got sad.

I think we can all get behind the gas station.

Seriously, hurry that shit up; there’s a line.
