I hate this shit so much. Especially in a multiplayer military shooter. Who the fuck cares? It adds absolutely nothing to the game that classes didn’t already do. It’s just propaganda to humanize murderers.

I liked bf2142 because at least there was a little bit of materialism at play in their hypothetical future of cold war factions reunited. There was no in your face ideology it was just sensible that the old east vs west (and the unspoken implication that the conflict was again communist vs capitalist) divisions would reemerge in the face of a global crisis.

this is already stupid on the face of it, but what makes it ridiculous is that this is a 128-player game and there are 10 characters. there will be 12.8 of each guy in the match
