The people that buy these things tend to be really like…domesticated. You have to live somewhere where there are tons of them to know exactly what I’m talking about, but it’s like the same energy as the Capitol residents in the Hunger Games

just off in like their own Disney reality

I love how all these dipshit Tesla owners pat themselves on the back for “saving the planet” when having an electric car has only a negligible effect on the environment. Yet they could spend the same money or less on solar panels like right now and actually make an impact. But you can’t slap bumper stickers on solar panels and drive it to Starbucks so… fuck actually doing something, let’s all pile into my super non-efficient, made like shit electric car.

Most environmentally friendly way to purchase a car is to buy a second hand car with good fuel mileage, reliability and safety, and drive it for as long as possible until it falls apart basically. But that’s not cool and fancy, so let’s buy brand new Teslas everybody!

Even if you don’t give a fuck about cooking the planet, it’s also unshockingly the most cost efficient way to drive a car, as well.

hahahah i fucking knew that some dipshit would twist a post like this to an opportunity to spread misinformation promoting ICEs

Please tell me in what world is buying a brand new Tesla more environmentally friendly than buying a second hand car. Of course electric engines are much, much more efficient and environmentally friendly than ICEs, I never claimed otherwise, but that doesn’t account for the rest of the car, and the resources needed to build it. Nevermind no one can afford a Tesla anyway.

A lot of them are the same type of people who will upgrade to the newest model or upgrade every few years too. Totally undoing any of the so called environmentalism they pretend to care about. I mean Tesla itself is a horrible polluter, so I don’t even agree with claims they are good for the environment for the most part. They’ve defrosted places, they’ve literally dumped toxic waste into waters and grounds among dozens of other things.

Yeah, there is other people out there with the same exact story-- this is still an ongoing thing! And they fired a guy who complained about racism, nothing happened after months of reports so he emailed Musk and within the week he was fired. Musk’s response was so dogshit, he told him to grow a thicker skin! And after he was fired he had to walk home miles cause he was no long an employee so they wouldn’t let him use the shuttle to get home

I enjoyed this reply

“but for ___, it’s good” is something you should be saying about a particularly fresh mcchicken, not an expensive car

They somehow managed to paint the fucking tyres. On a 54k car. I thought GM was bad, but holy crap what is this? What the hell happened to American manufacturing?

Not blaming the workers of course, but what is Elon smoking?

Gonna find a cheap 3D printer and make some Telsa decals, slap them on some used vehicles picked up from auction and list em on ebay just to see what would happen.

I checked their website to see the price and the whole thing just screams silicon valley techbro in the worst way possible. Like I thought they were trying to sell me a MacBook or something at first. But no it’s a car. At the price starts at 54k, without any of the extras. Our bud on twitter here probably paid 60k+ for that. Unbelievable. Do people really fall for this marketing?

60k without tax and registration. Assuming Tesla doesn’t charge him extra so that he could get his vehicle earlier. And he wouldn’t be getting federal tax credit either.
