October is truly a blessed month.
Officially, she’s on sabbatical and writing a book. Looks like Virgil went the same route after he gave up on Bad Faith.
They were the two people most heavily invested in electoralism, so I imagine a big part of this was just burnout and recovery. I have no idea if Amber actually earns money from the show right now. But she hasn’t officially left it as far as I’m aware. She was back on the 9/30 episode to review Cry Macho.
Has Virgil left Bad Faith officially. I never listened to it. I get why he has to go away, but I did used to like him as a commentator.
Virgil’s dad is Billy Quizboy
I also read it that way, but alas.
I hope he just gives up being a public figure, explains nothing and we only see him at random events because that will be the funniest chapo retirement

I know that it is usual for Virgil to be an enigma and to fuck off for long stretches of time, but I wish there was more information about what was going on with him. I mean I get his current disappearing due to his grooming allegations. I always thought he brought a more journalistic quality to the show.
