Well if you want a word that refers specifically to sex (which is the whole TERF gotcha), “female” is fine given the right context. But they want a word that also means “adult” and “human”. It’s like… so you’re telling me that we don’t have proper language to differentiate between sex and gender?

I guess AFAB probably works. Although typically, if it’s a situation where sex matters, I’ll just get more granular to the topic, like people with vaginas or people who have periods, etc.

The deeper origin for that is a r*pe joke from 4chan. Gamergaters literally made that the color scheme for their mascot as a reference to that joke.
That’s kinda true, but it was more of a shock value thing ala Goatse. It just got spammed so often that the green + purple color palette became it’s own joke like Loss or whatever.
