Lol at some of them being plainly fucked up anyway like bottom-right’s access to education.
There should not be subsidies for
profitablecorporations
Correction:
- There should not be
subsidies for profitablecorporations
Politicians should not dictate medical decisions
something something vaccine mandates
people working 40 hours a week should not live in poverty
especially veterans
access to higher education
checks out
Oh, I’ve heard plenty: “You can’t conflate national and state parties/governments”; “If we did that, then all the poors would want to move here”; “These things take time”; “Complex problems don’t have simple solutions”; “Democrats aren’t all progressives”; “If you believe that strongly you should vote/run for office”; “If you don’t like it just move” Oh wait hold on:
compelling
Oh yeah then no. If they were honest they’d say something about corporations so severely owning the party but it’s not like they have a solution for that beyond voting harder.
Complex problems don’t have simple solutions
Then propose a complex solution instead of proposing nonsensical solutions or no solution at all.
“Well it’s a ‘cultural’ problem, so even if we did anything it would be a waste” :very-smart:
There should not be subsidies for profitable corporations
Oh, so just for the corporations that are so shitty they’re not profitable then.
Thanks, very cool.
In some cases subsidizing failing companies to keep them afloat is better than letting them fail, some towns/areas only have one major employer and letting them go bust means everyone living in that area gets absolutely fucked due to no fault of their own. Sure the government should just nationalize them or strip ownership and turn em into a co-op but we are talking about capitalist hell holes so sometimes subsidies are better than doing nothing.
