I feel like it’s been so normalized that “only” a few hundred deaths a day seems like basically nothing (and the fact that that most obvious crisis is receding a bit is just more cover for no additional stimulus/unemployment assistance, etc)
Plus everyone’s so goldfish brained that as soon as it’s declared “over” my mom will start asking why I’m not immediately back in the labor force (I’m kidding, she was already asking that as cases were skyrocketing)
I don’t see it mentioned that the overwhelming majority of cases (in my city at least) are among the working class, while the rich have a pretty comfortable quarantining. I see what you mean, but no
I work in a nursing home, and we just today got covid on our unit. Now I have to wear all the PPE crap and its hot as hell. So nah man, not rooting for covid
I know a surgical nurse who has to wear a mask all day anyways and doubly so for cases regarding the respiratory systems. They’re tired of hearing about people not wanting to wear a mask while at the same time being called a hero (this isn’t directed at you specifically or anything).
I haven’t been able to fuck my fiancé in over 100 days because of covid so I’m gonna say no, definitely not
