Cool cool, it’s not like “front of the bus / back of the bus” has any loaded cultural baggage that goes along with it. Definitely not anything that relates to prisons and race.

The fun thing is: the choice isn’t yours. A cop can just grab you off the street and imprison for zero reason. America: land of the free.

You can choose between literal slavery in the prison system… or attempting to glean some sort of an education from a rapidly deteriorating public school system. Oh, don’t worry, the situation is much worse in underfunded urban centers of which this ad is likely the target. JFC :amerikkka:

I think the elections will be one of few things for the dems: a bad loss, a horrible loss, a bloodbath or a fucking nightmare bloodbath. My hunch is that it will be a bloodbath. In any case the worse the loss - the greater the chance that Biden and the dems change their messaging towards solving what they consider “problems”. My hunch is that they’ll go tough on crime and they’ll start to push hard for charter schools to - of course - break teacher’s unions.

I can imagine Biden in the election aftermath saying - “For so long we haven’t addressed a growing problem in our country… Crime.” And he’ll say “We gotta improve things for everyone. A way to do that would be to have more charter schools.” And then all the shit he says becomes talking points for dems all across the country.

What I can’t believe is that it’s fucking sponsored by State Farm. I don’t know which is worse…

  • Ghouls who know that they are ghouls.

  • Ghouls who sort of understand that they are ghouls.

  • Ghouls who actually believe they are good people.

The meetings at State Farm where corporate ghouls thought it was a good idea is black mirror stuff made real.

How about another choice bus, but it has one half a simulated prison, and the other half simulated homelessness. A real police officer mock brutalises school children in both halves. Sometimes tough lessons need to be learned
