Make sure you’re trying to appreciate it because it’s complex and good, and not because you have some weird reactionary hangup about “real” music.
Anyway I’m a super normie because my favorite is Vivaldi. I mostly listen to this stuff when I’m studying or writing since anything with lyrics can make it hard to concentrate.
Just keep listening to Bach until all other music becomes uninteresting.

The thing about Classical is that it’s not one style of music. It’s just kind of a catch bin. There’s dance music, marching music, weird mathematically complicated music, crossovers to jazz and other composition styles. It’s all over the place. Listen to a lot of it and find stuff you like.
Get high and listen to it while thinking about calculus.
