yes, it’s real.
When I see charts like this, I’m reminded of that one chart of percentage of left-handed kids, where it was way down for a long time, when kids were forced to use their right hands, until that practice stopped, where it drastically increased for a bit, and then just kind of leveled off at one point and then never really went up or down.
When you look at queer identity as a spectrum, heterotypical is also on the spectrum.
amazing, they already know the figures for generations yet unborn!
but really, where does 41.6 come from? And isn’t it funny that it just happens to be exactly double the generation z statistic… :thinking-about-it:
Just ignore him! Why are people giving this man relevance again.
Does everyone have some potential to some degree of non-cishetnormative sexual attraction/gender identity?
Well, it’s a broad spectrum, according to people way smarter than me. So, yeah. Maybe.
Personally, I’ve just given up on trying to label myself. I’m mostly attracted to women, but when I was younger, damn if some of those lads in college didn’t look tantalizing.
Does that make me bisexual? Probably. But I’ve been in a cis relationship for a few decades, and my sex drive is virtually dead at this age. Does it even matter now? Probably not.
What you feel deep down in your guts is real, and valid, and not as weird as you think. Pick a label if you want, or don’t, it’s all good. Just be you.
