LoL decided to cut out Linux players, so I’m cutting it out. MineCraft is owned by Microsoft and they force Microsoft accounts on players, so I’m not interested. But I kept watching videos from those games, which keeps their popularity up, and I personally don’t want to support this.

I recently discovered “Shortcat” who plays Mario Kart. It’s very fun to me as a person who never had any experience with Nintendo outside of watching speedruns of their games. He has an amazing charisma that feels very homey, but entertaining.

Another one I absolutely love is “Ceronesthes”. He plays Conan Exiles and owns cheaters SOLO while they have cheater-infested clans. It’s wild. Sadly (for me) he also posts guides, which is what I don’t like. I personally like pure content, but that’s me.

Honorable mentions: “Zera”, “geokel”, “Xentain”, “Pheeon”, “Baked Bongos”, “KinglyValence”, “Earlybird” (she has really cool game analysis vids)

“Let’s game it out” usually plays indie games in a wrong way making a spectacle out of all of it. Check it out

His personality is very offputting to me. I used to watch him, but he just feels toxic, idk.

Ross Scott, the Freeman’s mind guy, has a series called game dungeon where he plays old games and talks about them. That being said he does come off as old man yells at cloud a lot of the time.

I’ve discovered a few games thanks to “Aliensrock”. He popped in my recommendations playing Peglin, and I liked how he edited the videos to know wtf was going on, to someone that doesn’t know the game. That’s what enticed me to buy some of them on Steam, too.

edit: about the type of games, it’s usually puzzles or RNGs.
